New Years Resolution Tips

Could a handful of tips be the deciding factor between New Years Resolutions success or failure? 
Give me 4 minutes and I'll demonstrate.
What are tips anyway?
A clue, a little technique, a new concept or insight for how to do something.
So what is the something we want to do anyway?
New Years Resolutions Tip 1 
Know what you mean by New Years Resolutions.
For some it's a wish list, not much more.
For others it's a genuine commitment to a better life that carries as much energy and umph as a grasshopper carrying a camel.
But there are those of us, perhaps 3-10% of us, that have the commitment to succeed with New Years Resolutions. 
So let's agree, a New Years Resolution is a commitment to something you want to achieve.
New Years Resolution Tip 2
Measure the commitment.
On a scale of 1-10, note down a score showing how much desire you emotionally feel towards each resolution.
Measurement helps to make the commitment more real to the mind.
New Years Resolution Tip 3
Write down exactly what success would be, what it would look like, what would exist in reality in your life, if the resolution was 100% complete to your satisfaction. 
New Years Resolutions Tip 4
What are the steps to achieve the resolution?
What are the actual basic physical activities you will need to take to get this thing done? Is there a time frame on it Are other people involved? 
New Years Resolution Tip 5
What's your reward for success? What essentially is the point of the resolution, why do you desire it? What will it do for you, what will it give you that you don't have now. What's the emotional reason why you want it. Write all this stuff down, and your commitment and ability to succeed will shoot up through the roof.
