Feedback on my BETTER than Professional Organizer Program for How To Get Organized

Hi Nathan,

I just finished reading. I've tried alot of different organization programs and yours is the most unique. I am confident it will help me. I have one question.

Should I use the seven steps for mundane things like making sure the house gets cleaned or only for bigger projects? thanks

Mat Trujillo

My Professional Organizer response:

To answer your question about mundane vs big.

It simply depends on how satisfied you are with your results with the mundane things.  If you find yourself doing them efficiently and completely without the 7 steps, then no need to consciously create a 7 step project for them.  However, if you feel those mundane things could happen more efficiently and thoroughly, then apply the 7 steps to them.

Also, what you'll find through practicing the 7 steps with bigger projects is that it will become a more natural skill that you apply to everything in your life.

The one warning I can give:  Even though the 7 steps are simple, and even though you might not fully apply them to some things.  Still be sure that when you do apply them, you do so with full conscious awareness and effort to get every inch of mileage out of the value they have.  Be sure to use all 7 steps to your full honest satisfaction.

I'm really happy you see potential in it, given your experience with other programs.  I'd love to know what other programs you've tried, and what you see as the major differences with mine.  To me, the 7 steps are simple honest and straightforward. To me, it couldn't be any other way than those 7 steps.  What do you think?
